In 2012 I completed 65 knitting projects. That is a little down on 2011 - however 42 of those were my own designs/patterns!
My goals for 2012 were
Knit 6 adult sweaters - 5 complete, 2 new designs of my own.
Knit 6 pairs socks (this is my current fun thing to do, so should be a breeze!) - 7 complete, 2 of my own design!
Publish 2 designs - ohhhh yeah. I really had no idea how badly I would be bitten this year by the designing bug, how much I would enjoy it, and quite importantly, whether anyone would ever look twice at my designs! While I am by no means well-known it has been worthwhile for me, I still get a wee thrill every time I see a pattern sale or a new project linked to my patterns! 16 designs released this year!
And perhaps learn to take better photos! I didn't really work on this at all, although I really should. I think my photos have probably improved a wee bit, but I really must save up for a proper camera in 2013!
Here is a recap of some of my favorite projects from 2012. (this is HARD, I could pick 80% of them!)
Basketweave ribbed socks - pattern to be released SOON!
Winifred - I actually knit myself a dress!
I will be back in a few days with my goals for 2013. Just have to think of some! I do not do Resolutions, I prefer goals to deadlines/rules!
You have had an amazing year - cheers!
ReplyDeleteThe Bella Mia sweater I knit from your pattern has to be one of my favourites from 2012 - I must do another :)
Ditto about the spammers - drive me crazy - back to the word thingy...
Awesome, awesome projects!!
