KAL Prizes

Over in my Ravelry Group, I am hosting a KAL for my new pattern Shelley Bay. I was fortunate to receive yarn support from the wonderful Dream in Color, with the lovely Calm base, and they also included a few extra skeins for a prize for my Knit a Long! I have added some cute little chocolate brownie stitch markers (from the Sexy Knitters Etsy store) as well as some New Zealand made Chocolate. (I am more than happy to eat this one and substitute a different flavour if the winner prefers another ;) )

Calm is a delicious soft base, 100% US grown, single ply yarn. This is the Shy Colorway, which is exactly what I used for my sample. AND the yardage is so good, that I even have enough extra (not the prize, promise!) to knit a teeny one too! Awesome! This is enough yarn to knit a smaller sized Shelley Bay (up to size 3), but of course you can knit whatever you like if you win!

As well as this prize, I will also be giving a second prize, which will depend on how many Finished Objects are added to the KAL thread. $1 for every FO will be added to the kitty, and this will be gifted in the form of a voucher from a mutually agreeable (and paypal friendly) yarn related store - yarn, stitch markers, Ravelry patterns, whatever the winner wants. 20 FOs equals $20, 30 FOs equals $30, you get the idea! 

And I will also be gifting my own patterns randomly through out the KAL! So feel free to come and chat, you never know when I will randomly pick a winner!
