I decided to do the Yarn Along a bit different this week and show you some recent Yarn Acquisitions instead of what I have been knitting!
YUM! Red Riding Hood Riche (10 ply) in Blue Lagoon. How yummy is this!!! I feel a new design coming on....
Malabrigo Worsted in Purapuras. Not sure what this is for....
Knitsch Sock - not sure what color this is, but I am going to be brave, knit this at a tight gauge and give sock yarn without nylon one last chance!!
Speaking of yarn, Jo of the wonderful Jodulbug Creations has an awesome yarn competition going on right now, she does gorgeous yarn (I may have just custom ordered enough for an adult knit...) so you should pop over and enter!

I am currently reading French Kids Eat Everything which is very interesting, and I hope I can steal a few strategies from it for my picky eater!
The book I was reading last week, AWESOME! I forced myself to read it all weekend, hehe, and it was well worth it!
Have you acquired any must have yarn lately?
Three very delicious acquisitions :) I am knee deep in Malabrigo over here and am very much in love!
ReplyDeleteI very much want to steal your blue lagoon - it is beautiful!
Man, that sock yarn is my favorite, I'm excited to see you knit it up. I haven't really gotten any yarn lately, because I'm a broke college kid and too busy. But there is some lacey bison yarn in my stash that is screaming at me.
ReplyDeleteThat is very beautiful yarn! I am always so tempted by sock yarn, but I'm trying to knit down my sock yarn stash a bit this year. I'm not saying I won't buy any, because that would be impossible. :-) But I am trying to cut back.
ReplyDeleteI just got that book from the library. I'm not sure if I read about here or where I heard of it. But I'm excited to read it.
ReplyDeleteGoureous yarns!
ReplyDeleteI am totally curious about this French eating technique. My kids are very picky eaters.
ReplyDeleteOh wow - I particularly love the purple yarn. What a great idea to show off your stash!
ReplyDeleteI have some new things to stock in the shop for the upcoming season and I'm having a hard time keeping my hands off it...
