Today is the first day of September, and so Spring in my part of the world.
I've always loved Spring. I'm sure in part its because it also means my Birthday is on its way, and growing up, I always associated my birthday with blossom trees and tulips.
Spring for my daughter seems to mean, wearing less clothes than yesterday, shrugging off cardigans and shoes.
Which is why the fact I have finally finished my Amy is terribly bad timing!
Its like my knitting Mojo has known spring is on its way, its been waning lately and I have been struggling to pick my needles up. I may need a wee break of crochet and I'm sure I will get that mojo back!
Today is Father's Day in NZ too. So Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful, and pretty good Dads out there ;) and sending much love to those without Dads, with Dad's who have passed, Dad's who have lost kids, and whoever else might find this a difficult day this year.
Off to tidy my house to my husbands standards, rather than my own lazy ones, its part of his Father's Day present!
